Spain: FTTH in over 5m homes

FTTH penetration continues to grow in Spain with over 5 million active lines at the end of January.
The latest figures from the CNMC reveals that FTTH grew by 164,817 lines in the calendar month. Telefónica is the market leader with a share of over 60.8 per cent and 3 million lines.
In a year-on-year basis, FTTH grew by 1.8 million lines against the loss of 1.3 million in DSL.
