TV Nova, the private Czech broadcaster, has deployed Icareus Playout HbbTV server to expand to hybrid broadcast and broadband services.

Icareus HbbTV Carousel server allows TV Nova to offer the interactive HbbTV experience to its viewers while managing the services and network parameters in an efficient way.

Icareus’ Director Mr Mikko Karppinen explains “Icareus has a long history of working in the Czech Republic with the TV operators like Ceske Radiokomunikace and Digital Broadcasting s.r.o. and we are delighted to start working also with the leading broadcaster in the market ”. TV Nova is the number one channel in Czech having the highest share of the daily TV viewers in the market.”
