Orange Spain has tripled its TV subscribers over the last 12 months to 381,000 as of June 30th, a rise driven by top-flight football offers and convergence packages.
83 per cent of its broadband customer base are now subscribed to some sort of multi-play offer.
The company has also increased the number of its broadband subscribers to over 3.83 million against 2.04 million a year ago. In the second quarter Orange gained 197,000 fibre customers, totaling 1.22 million at the end of June, tripling its number a year ago. The company reached 8.3 million FTTH homes at the end of the second quarter, with plans to reach 14 million households by the end of 2020.
