Telekom Austria appoints Plater CEO

Telekom Austria has named Alejandro Plater as its new Chief Executive having previously been the telco’s Chief Operating Officer. He replaces Hannes Ametsreiter who left the America Movil unit to take the helm at Vodafone Germany. Plater, who has been interim CEO since Ametsreiter’s exit, will officially start the role on August 1st.
