Netflix has indicated that Movistar users connected to its video streaming service have experienced performance issues since it was launched in Spain on October 20th.
“We are aware that there are problems in the streaming performance, especially via the Movistar network, during prime time evening slots,” said the company’s European communications head Joris Evers in an interview with El Pais.
Jarvis added that subscribers aren’t getting the highest picture quality and are experiencing slower streaming times. Telefónica users have been complaining that their connections aren’t performing well when accessing OTT platforms.
