October 16, 2014
Taiwan Broadband Communications (TBC) has selected the E6000 Converged Edge Router (CER) from ARRIS Group to ensure its subscribers in Taiwan receive enhanced broadband speeds and converged services.
Deployment of the ARRIS E6000 CER will begin in November to deliver new levels of density and cost-effectiveness in a robust integrated architecture. The ARRIS E6000 CER will equip TBC to offer high-speed data services of 1Gbps and beyond. The platform supports converged data/video services, while also positioning them strategically for the future of DOCSIS 3.1.
“We are focused on offering a seamless and compelling suite of media and communication products to our customers today and tomorrow. We chose the ARRIS E6000 CER for its capability to deliver more services at faster speeds while lowering costs per channel,” said Thomas Ee, Chief Executive Officer, TBC. “We are delighted to build on our 10-year relationship with ARRIS, whom we trust to deliver a high-performing and reliable service for our customers.”
