DCC Labs joins HbbTV
September 3, 2014
DCC Labs has become a member of Hybrid broadcast broadband TV (HbbTV), a global initiative defining specifications that streamline and accelerate deployment of IPTV services.
DCC Labs strive to improve the video user experience for consumers by empowering TV operators with state-of-the-art solutions. As such, for several years DCC Labs had been an active member of Open IPTV Forum (OIPF), an independent organisation defining and publishing free-of-charge, standards-based specifications for end-end IPTV services.
‘We are very enthusiastic about having joined HbbTV and eager to become an active member of the Association both by following its standards as well as by helping devise new ones. Our products help TV operators keep pace with innovations, launch new services and business models that may open new revenue streams. We strongly believe that our contribution to HbbTV will benefit the entire industry as well as add to our own growth’, says Marek Kiełczewski, DCC Labs CEO.
