C Music TV makes Caribbean debut
April 25, 2013
THEMA, provider of channels in France and on the international stage is pleased to announce C Music TV first agreement in Latin America and the Caribbean.
C Music TV is the world’s first classical, cinematic and chillout music-video channel available 24 hours a day, uninterrupted by advertising breaks. The channel features the world’s greatest classical performers, as they have never been seen before, and exclusively showcases the very latest music-videos from classical star across the globe. Replacing traditional long form classical concerts and operas with pop-style music-videos, C Music TV combines classical, cinematic and ambient music-videos with artist interviews, live performance excerpts and behind-the-scenes features. The format has broad subscriber appeal and is revitalising interest in these largely under represented music genres.
C Music TV successfully launched in the Dominican Republic on April 1st by signing an agreement with TRICOM, the leading pay-tv operator in Dominican Republic, operating throughout the country. Approximately 87 000 subscribers are receiving the channel now.
C Music TV is available in SD to the “Superior HD plan” subscribers, and is available both in SD and HD to the “Maxi HD plan” subscribers.
