SMiT joins CI Plus Partnership

State Micro Technology Corporation (SMiT), a global CAM manufacturer, has joined the CI Plus LLP as its seventh partner.
In August 2009, SMiT became the first CAM manufacturer to commercially launch CI PLUS CAMs for Ziggo, the largest cable operator in the Netherlands. Since then, SMiT has successfully completed integration of CI Plus standard into its products with other leading Conditional Access System (CAS) partners, including NDS, Conax, Irdeto, China Digital TV, and Viaccess.
