Universal launches interactive websites
September 29, 2010
Universal Networks International (UNI) has launched its new web-video digital platform that will power interactive websites for its five core channel brands online: Syfy Universal, Diva Universal, Studio Universal, Universal Channel and 13th Street Universal. The launch of these localised websites – now available in 14 languages and across 16 countries – is the latest development in UNI’s previously announced 360° digital media strategy.
The new local channel websites extend UNI’s premium pay-TV brand offering online giving audiences high-quality streamed video content, including episodes of key programming featured on the channel, behind-the-scenes footage, original content-inspired social gaming and exclusively produced web series. Using one unique central video delivery platform, the wholly localised content is available across Europe, Latin America, South Africa and Asia Pacific.
