Dish quarterly profit falls

Dish Network has reported that first-quarter profit declined as increased operational and legal costs overshadowed a rise in subscribers. Net income fell to $230.9 million from $312.7 million a year earlier. Revenue rose 5.2 per cent to $3.06 billion. Dish added 237,000 net new subscribers in the quarter.
