YouTube off air
March 26, 2010
YouTube, one of the world's most popular websites, was offline for more than an hour yesterday. Google's video sharing site had an internal fault, according to the company, it denied there was any link to Chinese hackers – Google has withdrawn from China after a disagreement with the government.
“YouTube is up again following a technical issue which has now been resolved,” Google said in a statement. “We know how important YouTube is for people and apologize for any inconvenience the downtime may have caused.”
