The Kiev-based One Plus One (1+1) TV station has been taken off the air in the Eastern portion of the Ukraine. The channel, now controlled by Igor Kolomoisky, was sold by Central European Media Enterprises (CME) back in 2010 for some $300 million.

May 12th saw 1+1’s signal removed in the Donetsk region and replaced by Russia’s Rossiya 24 station.

According to 1+1, the signal, as well as being lost in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, has also been removed in the Rovenky and Lysychansk cities (both in Luhansk Region).

The company added that the broadcasting of the TV channel is still available to the residents of the region through satellite and on the official website of the One Plus One group.
