Interactive local DTT tests under way in Spain
September 10, 2007
From David Del Valle in Madrid
Spain is to make interactive MHP-based DTT tests in two towns in San Juan de Aznalfarache and Castilleja de la Cuesta, in the province of Seville, in the south of Spain. Aljarafe Television will be launching next week its digital TV channel covering all the Seville demarcation with around 1.3 million people to carry out the interactive trial.
Around 100 people will take part in the test over the next months. They will be equipped with a MHP-ready DTT box through which they will have access to a plethora of interactive services that will allow them to receive information from the town councils, book places at local workshops and make red tape, among others.
