Netgem has launched two new LTE routers: Quattor, a multimode (2G / 3G / 4G Wi-Fi) mobile router with embedded Wi-Fi Offload (Passpoint compatible) and Wobe, a cost effective, single-mode (LTE) fixed CPE that can be used as an alternative to xDSL deployments.

Christophe Aulnette, President of Netgem International, said: “With the explosion of video consumption, the race for higher and ubiquitous bandwidth is on. Quattor and Wobe will enable telecom operators to harness the growth of Wireless deployments while managing and keeping control of the end to end consumer experience.”

Both the Quattor and Wobe routers embed the latest LTE chipset technology, extend Wi-Fi capabilities (Wi-Fi Offload, Wi-Fi repeater and access point modes) and offer an open customisable software platform that enables telecom operators to add value to their wireless networks (mobile and Wi-Fi) and to better manage the user mobile devices.
