Sony’s iconic 550 Madison Avenue, New York, 37-story skyscraper building may be put up for sale, according to the the New York Post. Sony Corp has its USA HQ in the tower, as well as its showcase Sony showroom on the ground floor just a block or so from 5th Avenue.
Sony execs are pondering various options including a direct sale of the building (one apparent discussion is with private equity company Blackstone Group).
