Malta: Viasat World channels on Melita TV

Independent international broadcaster, Viasat World, has confirmed its entry into the Maltese market. Through a new distribution agreement with Melita TV, Viasat World now brings a curated portfolio of TV channels to audiences in Malta, further strengthening its footprint in Europe.
Melita TV subscribers can now access five of Viasat World’s channels, including its factual portfolio, Viasat History, Viasat Explore and Viasat Nature, alongside its premium series channel Epic Drama and the recently launched Viasat True Crime – all available within Melita’s L package.

Viasat Explore
Adventure‑seekers can dive into real‑world challenges with Hunting Outback Gold (BossaNova); Behind Bars: The World’s Toughest Prisons (Maximus Film); Air Crash Investigation and Rookie Truckers (both Cineflix); Special Ops True (All3Media) and Cold Water Cowboys (Lionsgate).
Viasat Nature
Nature enthusiasts can watch natural history documentaries, including The Secret Life of Bees with Steve Backshall (Orange Smarty); Airborne (4×60, Blue Ant Media); Inside The Forest (Cineflix); Extreme World and Wild Game: Four Players (both Wild Stories).
Epic Drama
Drama fans can access popular series, including Robin Hood (pictured), Dangerous Liaisons (both Lionsgate Studios); Miss Austen (Federation Studios); The Forsytes and Murder in a Small Town (both ITV Global).
Viasat True Crime
True crime viewers can watch investigations and feature length specials including Cult Justice and Terror Comes Knocking: The Marcela Borges Story (both Cineflix), John Wayne Gacy: Devil in Disguise and In Ice Cold Blood (both NBC Universal) and Monkey on a Stick: Murder, Madness and the Hare Krishnas (Sphere Abacus).
