US phone giant AT&T has an impressive 95.5 million wireless subscribers, and is offering them a $45 a month discount for 6 months if they switch to AT&T’s U-Verse IPTV service from cable or satellite.
The offer is open to those taking at least AT&T’s Mobility Nation 450 cellular pricing plan and clients need to bundle their phone sub with at least the U-Verse U300 TV scheme – and a minimum one-year contract.
As at December 2010 AT&T said its U-Verse IPTV system had 2.99 million subs. It will release its latest numbers on April 20th.
