ESPN+ exclusive home of UFC PPV events
March 19, 2019
ESPN+ is set to be the exclusive distributor of UFC pay-per-view events in the US through 2025, ESPN and the UFC. This will make ESPN+ the single point of purchase for consumers for top UFC events, and extends the partnership between the companies for two additional years.
The deal begins at UFC 236 on April 13th, a card headlined by two interim title bouts: Max Holloway vs. Dustin Poirier and Israel Adesanya vs. Kelvin Gastelum.
UFC PPV events sold through ESPN+ will include all bouts on the main card. Early prelims and prelims for all UFC PPV events will now air nationally on ESPN or ESPN +.
ESPN and the UFC previously signed a five-year deal to air 30 UFC Fight Night events per year, this announcement is an extension of that contract.
