Holmes appointed Deputy Chairman of C4

Ofcom has announced that Chris Holmes (Lord Holmes of Richmond, MBE) has been appointed Deputy Chairman of Channel 4.
Holmes was already a Non-Executive Director of Channel 4, joining the Board in December 2016. He is now in post as Deputy Chairman. He replaces MT Rainey, whose term ended in December 2017.
Holmes is Britain’s most successful Paralympic swimmer, winning nine gold medals. He was also Non-Executive Director at UK Sport, where he helped develop the strategy which led to Britain’s Olympic and Paralympic success at London 2012 and Rio 2016.
