YouTube Go going live in South Africa
December 1, 2017
Google has revealed that YouTube Go will launch in South Africa imminently.
The service, which beta launched earlier this year, has been designed as an offline-first way to access YouTube videos. It improves the experience of watching videos on a slower network, as well as providing control over data usage, offering choice and transparency for streaming or saving videos.
YouTube Go is currently only available in India and Indonesia.
