AETN International, a division of A&E Television Networks, has confirmed the appointment of Liz Higgins as Director, Strategy & Business Development, Europe.

Higgins will be responsible for formulating AETN’s growth strategy and investment activities for Europe across business lines including channels and digital distribution. Higgins joins AETN from British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB) where she has served as Business Development Manager and was responsible for Sky News International, distributing Sky News globally outside the UK. Most recently she oversaw the launch of Sky News HD into the Middle East.
