TVT appoints Elvidge as CTO

TVT, the independent media services company, has appointed Peter Elvidge as its first CTO. In the newly created role, Peter will take responsibility for overseeing technology strategy and development.
Elvidge joins TVT from Globecast, where in the course of his 10-year career he held a variety of roles including Head of Global Media Management. During his decade with the company, he helped to steer technology and operational teams in the creation and launch of Globecast’s global product offering of content logistics, playout, OTT services and VoD logistics products.
Commenting on the appointment, Ian Brotherston, TVT CEO says, “Peter is an exceptionally talented and knowledgeable individual who brings with him practical experience of leading the successful development of technology and processes to serve the evolving needs of broadcasters and content owners. I am delighted to welcome him to the TVT team and look forward to working closely with him to further drive the business and our international expansion.”
Elvidge will start his new role in January 2017.
