Banijay Entertainment unveils 2026 London TV Screenings line-up

Media and entertainment powerhouse, Banijay Entertainment, has unveiled 2026 London TV Screenings line-up, featuring a slate of must-see content across scripted, factual and formats. Once again taking place at BAFTA 195 Picadilly, on February 25th, the showcase will run across two dedicated sessions – AM and PM.

Highlighting the company’s scale and world-leading creative strength, the line-up includes the re-imagining of iconic detective drama Wallander; highly-anticipated UK titles A Woman of Substance, Falling and Half Man; Dutch sport reality format Football Island; culinary competition 100 Knives, with more formats to be announced on the day; and gripping factual series America’s Toughest Jails. The powerhouse will also spotlight its latest selection of reimagined hits and travelling formats including Fear Factor: House of Fear and International Emmy-winner Shaolin Heroes.

Headlining the premium scripted offering are the highly anticipated reboot of Wallander by Jarowskij/Yellow Bird and Banijay Rights for TV4 and ARD Degeto, starring Gustaf Skarsgård; The Forge’s brand-new adaptation of Barbara Taylor-Bradford’s iconic A Woman of Substance, alongside Falling, a modern love story from BAFTA-winning writer Jack Thorne, both for Channel 4; Half Man from Emmy-winning creator Richard Gadd produced by Mam Tor Productions in association with Thistledown Pictures Ltd, for the BBC, BBC Scotland, and HBO; as well as the adaptation of Caleb Azumah Nelson’s multi award-winning debut novel Open Water from Mam Tor Productions and B-Side Productions for BBC. Third-party highlights include These Sacred Vows, an Irish comedy from Treasure Entertainment for RTÉ, and romantic comedy Two Years Later from Hoodlum for Paramount+.

Also featured are eagerly awaited returners including Kudos’ hit dramas Rogue Heroes for BBC iPlayer and MGM+, and the final season of Grantchester for MASTERPIECE PBS and ITV; Swedish crime drama Fallen (Filmlance) for TV4; A Remarkable Place to Die (Screentime New Zealand) for TVNZ, ZDF and Acorn; Anonymous (NL Film) for NPO; Blacklight’s Bergerac for U and U&DRAMA; and The One That Got Away for S4C; and The Hardacres (Playground) for Channel 5.

A range of compelling titles headline the factual slate including brand-new series America’s Toughest Jails for Discovery from Lucky 8; Channel 4’s Mission To Space with Francis Bourgeois from Shine TV; Bear Grylls – Wild Reckoning for BBC One, BBC Cymru Wales and iPlayer from Tŷ’r Ddraig (part of Workerbee); Emmy-winning documentary collection Super Bowl Champions from NFL Films and BD4; and CNN Original series Eva Longoria: Searching for France from Hyphenate Media Group.

Elsewhere, Banijay Entertainment is serving up bold new formats, including sport adventure reality format, Football Island, for Videoland from SimpelZodiak and Southfields; high-pressure culinary competition 100 Knives from Mastiff Sweden, Bunim/Murray Productions and Smart Dog Media for TV4; primetime quiz show How Old Is Your Brain? from DMLS TV for M6; singing competition Staying Alive from EndemolShine Germany for ProSieben and Joyn; and psychological reality game The Dinner from SimpelZodiak and Talpa Studios for SBS6. The slate also features comedy crime competition Who’s Guilty? from Metronome for DR1; and Shine Iberia’s celebrity competition DecoMasters for RTVE. Reimagined hits and travellers including ratings success Fear Factor: House of Fear hosted by Johnny Knoxville; Emmy winning Shaolin Heroes; and influencer-fuelled adventure Mission Unknown will also take centre stage.

From its third-party non-scripted portfolio is cult strategic reality format Werewolves from STUDIOCANAL and Dreamspark; superbrand Ninja Warrior from Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS); and digital-first format All Star Hide and Seek from Troot and Rabbit Film.

These London TV Screenings highlights complement Banijay Entertainment’s globally renowned catalogue, which includes superbrands Big Brother and Peaky Blinders returning to the screen with two six-part series produced by Kudos and Garrison Drama for BBC iPlayer and BBC One in the UK and for Netflix globally; travelling hits The Fifty and The Summit; and a strong roster of scripted releases like My Brother (Filmlance) for SVT; Unchosen (Double Dutch) and Motorvalley (Grøenlandia) for Netflix; Pokeepsie Film’s Enfrentados for Prime Video; La Nena (Diagonal TV) for Atresmedia; BOHO (jonnydepony) for Streamz and The Buccaneers S3 (The Forge) for Apple TV+.

The latest slate also complements Banijay Entertainment ongoing activities in the digital landscape, from Creators Lab, its partnership with YouTube in France, set to scale globally; and the launch of FCF, a creator-led football team in the Netherlands, to its ongoing management of standout, talent-led YouTube channels for the likes of Mr Bean, Jimmy Carr, and its recent extension of major superbrands – MasterChef Creators and Big Brother: Knossi Edition.
