The Professional Fighters League (PFL) has announced a deal with Movistar Plus+, the Spanish pay-TV provider, to broadcast all 24 PFL Global and International League events in 2026. The deal will allow Movistar Plus+ subscribers to watch PFL on Vamos por M+ (channel available to all Movistar Plus+ customers), the entry-level package, ensuring enhanced exposure of the MMA events.
The deal comes ahead of PFL hosting the first global MMA show in Spain, as PFL Madrid will take place on March 20th at the Palacio Vistalegre. The main event will feature Spain’s PFL Middleweight World Champion Costello ‘The Spaniard’ van Steenis defending his title against the dangerous Englishman Fabian ‘The Assassin’ Edwards in a rematch set to entertain the masses in Madrid.
“Partnering with Movistar Plus+ is a huge deal and opportunity for PFL. As the largest pay-TV service in Spain, and with PFL hosting the first ever global MMA event in the country, the timing is perfect for us to bring elite MMA to their platform and subscribers. This is the biggest year in PFL’s history and we plan to deliver the biggest and best events possible, and we can’t wait for the Spanish fans to witness what we have planned. Sign up, and be a part of a historic year,” commented PFL CEO John Martin.
