KC Global Media Distribution unveils 2026 slate and strengthened partnerships

December 9, 2025

KC Global Media Distribution returned to Asia TV Forum and Market (ATF) to announce their upcoming 2026 slate, focusing on an expanded vision and a renewed commitment to delivering premium and culturally rich content to regional and international partners. Building on last year’s launch, their distribution arm plans to deepen its footprint across Asia through strategic collaborations and a robust slate of titles crafted to resonate with global audiences.

On day one, KC Global Media Distribution commanded the spotlight on ATF’s main stage with one of the event’s most highly attended showcases, drawing a packed room of buyers, media, and industry partners. The energetic session featured back-to-back title reveals and a lively talent meet-and-greet, generating strong interest and reaffirming the company’s position as a key Asian content powerhouse.

Four standout titles headlined the presentation:

  • LAYA, a Philippines drama thriller, was introduced with lead actress & social media superstar Andrea Brillantes (FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, High Street, Senior High) appearing to represent the production.

  • DECALCOMANIA, a co-production between Singapore’s Mocha Chai Laboratories and Thailand’s The One Enterprise, drew strong interest with its mystery thriller narrative built around a body swapping premise. Cast members Pierre Png (Crazy Rich Asians), Thai actor Thaneth Warakulnukroh (Mad Unicorn / Netflix), Cynthia Koh (Confinement, Hope Afloat), rising star Gladys Ng, and Hong Hui Fang (Breeze By The Sea, Ajoomma), were all present to introduce the series.

  • LOST AND FOUND, Singapore’s first scripted collaboration with Japanese public broadcaster NHK, also made its debut. The adventure drama follows a Singaporean gamer who journeys abroad in search of his missing online girlfriend, with actor Shawn Thia present at ATF to promote the title.

  • A CONTROVERSIAL ENTERTAINER, a Taiwanese comedy centred on the unexpected transformation of five ordinary men into top male hosts, was presented with cast members Marcus Chang (Lost Romance), Amanda Chou (The Devil Punisher), Alex Chou (The Chronicles of Libidoists), Wes Lo (The Wonder Woman) and Chih Tian Shih (The Post-Truth World) in attendance.

KC Global Media’s business has marked significant growth over the past year, supported by a strong network of established production partners including Rein Entertainment (Philippines); Deepwater Laboratories (Taiwan); Empire of Arkadia, and Mocha Chai Laboratories (Singapore).

“The range and ambition of the 2026 slate underscores our commitment to championing Asian creators,” said George Chien, Co-founder, President and CEO, KC Global Media. “We are excited to work with partners who share our belief in the power of culturally rooted stories with global potential.”
