Boat Rocker acquires Rocket Club series

October 9, 2025

Boat Rocker Studios, an independent, integrated global entertainment company, has acquired the rights to preschool animation series Rocket Club, which they are launching for buyers at MIP Junior and MIPCOM this October.

The 20 x 11’ series, which currently airs on Sky (UK), ABC (Australia), Knowledge Network (BC, Canada), CBC/Radio-Canada (French Canada) and Mango TV (China) is produced and animated by Canada’s Icon Creative Studio.

The year is 2160, school’s out – and the galaxy is calling! What better way to spend the summer holidays than with your best friends, saving the day in your very own spaceship out in the wonder of the universe. Meet Rocket Club – a group of brilliant kid inventors and space explorers. Join Callie, Jeenie, Ravi, Chip, Bunny and their robot buddy TAC as they blast off on epic adventures – and thwart the malevolent meddling of their archenemy, Calvin.

Hidden underneath their backyard treehouse lies Mission Command, home of StarBird-1, the Club’s greatest creation. The StarBird-1 can travel so fast that the team can explore anywhere in the Galaxy and be home in time for dinner. With a mix of creativity, teamwork, and STEM-inspired thinking, they solve tricky problems and save the day. Packed with laughs, action and heart, Rocket Club encourages kids to be curious, kind and to dream as big as the universe.

Gia DeLaney, SVP Global Sales, Kids & Family, Boat Rocker Studios, commented: “We’re over the moon to be introducing Rocket Club to buyers at MIPCOM. Kids all around the world love stories about space and space travel, and Rocket Club brings exciting and entertaining adventures in mysterious and exotic new worlds. The show features a lovable gang of super-smart friends, who remind us that every kid has something special to offer. And with its universal themes of friendship and imagination, the sky’s the limit for this vibrant and thrilling new show.”
