Osun Group’s Blue Therapy adapted for Belgium as Koppels in Crisis

August 14, 2025

Osun Group, the IP owner behind the relationship reality format Blue Therapy, has announced Belgium’s localised adaptation, titled Koppels in Crisis. Produced by All3Media Belgium for streaming service Streamz – the series will be hosted by acclaimed relationship therapist Jess Donckers.

In Koppels in Crisis, four couples undergo intensive therapeutic dialogues led by Donckers – The series builds toward a critical, potentially life‑changing juncture: will couples reconcile or part ways?

The Belgian adaptation was made possible through All3Media Belgium, who acquired the format rights from All3Media International. Luti Fagbenle and Andy Amadi are Executive Producers. Koppels in Crisis will premiere exclusively on Streamz today (August 14th).

The original Blue Therapy format began as a viral YouTube series in 2021 by TrendCentrl. Osun Group took the TrendCentrl format from its digital origins to mainstream television, with E4 commissioning In Love & Toxic: Blue Therapy for a full UK run, and went on to spearhead international adaptations, starting with Belgium. Earlier this year, Netflix commissioned its own global adaptation of Blue Therapy, also produced by Osun Group.

Osun Group founder and Executive Producer, Luti Fagbenle, commented: “Blue Therapy’s universal themes of communication, conflict, and commitment have resonated widely since its grassroots YouTube origins. The Belgian adaptation underscores how adaptable and culturally relevant the format is. By anchoring it in local voices like Jess Donckers’, Koppels in Crisis brings fresh perspective while preserving the emotional complexity that defines the series. At Osun, we’re proud to be at the forefront of discovering and championing talent from YouTube and the influencer community to elevate their work and voices through meaningful collaborations with broadcasters and streamers. Blue Therapy’s creator, Andy Amadi, is a perfect example of this approach in action.”

Blue Therapy creator, Andy Amadi, added: “Seeing Blue Therapy adapted as Koppels in Crisis for Belgian audiences is another major milestone for the format. It shows that the series resonates because it taps into something universal – relationships. It’s a powerful reminder that honest storytelling will always find a way to connect.”

The original format was created by Amadi (under TrendCentrl), who serves as EP across the series, alongside Osun Group’s Luti Fagbenle and Anna Edwinson.
