The BBC has appointed Peaker Pattinson Auctioneers to handle an online auction of equipment from the BBC’s Maida Vale studios.

The equipment includes professional monitor racks, amplifiers, graphic equalisers, speaker management systems and processors, monitor speakers and sub-woofers and flight storage cases. Also included is staging, both fixed and mobile as well as canteen equipment.

The auctioneers say the sale is due to the relocation of the Maida Vale studios in 2026. The auction will take place on May 29th, with virtual and physical viewing (by appointment only) available from May 27th.
