DTG’s Lindsay-Davies named RTS Leader of the Year 2024
July 4, 2024
DTG Chief Executive Richard Lindsay-Davies has been named Royal Television Society Leader of the Year at the 2024 RTS Technology Awards.
The RTS Technology Awards, which took place on July 3rd, honour outstanding achievements in both technology and production within the broadcast industry. The Leader of the Year award, as its name suggests, recognises those leaders making real impact in their organisations, their networks and the industry at large.
Speaking of the win, Richard Lindsay-Davies: “I am incredibly honoured to have been recognised by the Royal Television Society and the RTS Technology Centre as Leader of the Year! It is genuinely humbling and a wonderful surprise. “A huge thank you to them and to my fellow finalists, all of whom deserve this award much more than I do! And a massive thank you to my amazing team. Leadership is as much about learning as it is about leading, and I am incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by a very talented group of colleagues working at the bleeding edge of TV technology, from whom I learn every day… and who make me look good! In truth, this award should really go to them! And finally to the whole industry, which is one I love! The passion, innovation and relentless work of our members to deliver on the potential of TV drives and inspires me and I am very proud to play just a small part in delivering the TV of tomorrow. Thank you!”
The award follows the recent news that he was again named one of the year’s Top 50 most influential people in the OTT industry.
