Movistar Plus+’s La Mesías heading to HBO LATAM
October 16, 2023
Movistar Plus+ International has closed a deal with HBO LATAM for the acquisition of ‘La Mesías’ rights in its territory. The 7 episodes of the series will be seen on the Latin American platform.
‘La Mesías’ comes to join many Movistar Plus+ original titles that have already crossed our borders. It is a Movistar Plus+ Original series in collaboration with Suma Content, written, directed and produced by Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo. ‘La Mesías’ is the return of the creative couple, three years after their last release as directors and screenwriters. ‘La Mesías’ is the most ambitious, thoughtful and complex project from the pair of creators after hits like ‘La Llamada’, ‘Paquita Salas’ and ‘Veneno’. This ambitious production has been presented in the Official Selection of the 71st San Sebastian International Film Festival, garnering great recognition from the attending critics. ‘La Mesías’ is a shocking fiction that tells the story of a mother who, in her delirium, rises her daughters to save the world.Other posts by :
