Reports suggest that SpaceX will resume launching its Starlink low Earth orbiting satellites in August. It last launched a batch of its own satellites at the end of May.
Two launches will take place; one from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California and one from SpaceX’s own launch facility in Florida.
The Vandenberg launch will be no earlier than August 10th while the Florida launch will be mid-August.
Currently SpaceX has more than 1300 Starlinks on station and another 200 extra satellites drifting correctly into their targeted positions. SpaceX has launched a total of 1740 Starlink craft to date and most have gone into a 53 degree inclination orbit which is the first orbital plane to be populated.
