SpaceX’s Starlink extends to Belgium

Last week it was the Netherlands, and this week the SpaceX Starlink broadband-by-satellite service has been extended to Belgium – or at least a service has been promised in the near future.
An email from Starlink to potential subscribers in Belgium stresses that the system will still suffer short periods without a connection while Starlink builds out the necessary infrastructure and launches more satellites.
Local reports say that a beta-system is already being used in Ghent, and for Brussels and Charleroi coverage will be available later this year.
The next SpaceX launch is scheduled for May 26th when another 60 satellites will be placed into orbit.
The following day, May 27th, Arianespace is scheduled to launch 36 OneWeb satellites from the Russian Vostochny Cosmodrome.
