Discovery Spain launches OTT service DPLAY

Discovery Spain has launched DPLAY, a free streaming service that allows viewers to watch on demand programmes, documentaries and TV series from the DMax channel at any time and on any device.
Viewers, who can registered at DPLAY.es, will also be able to personalise content with their own play lists, save their selections, rate content and receive recommendations.
With the launch of the service, Discovery Spain consolidates its position as a multi-platform operator with a presence in satellite, DTT and OTT. DPLAY is already available in other European countries including Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Italy where in this latter the service has already achieved 100,000 registered users in four months, and 7 million video views in October alone.
