Boom time for OLED displays; 8K on the way

IHS Markit research shows that sales of high-end OLED displays are growing. The latest numbers from IHS, and reported by Large Display Monitor (LDM), say that OLED will grow to dominate the TV market for sets that cost more than $1,000 which took 5 per cent of the overall market in 2016, but more than 20 per cent of revenues.
