Ooyala Flex launches
April 13, 2016
Ooyala, a Telstra subsidiary and specialist in premium video publishing, analytics and monetisation, has introduced Ooyala Flex, its media logistics solution helping broadcasters, studios, publishers, and brands modernise video production workflows. Formerly known as MioEverywhere, Ooyala Flex is now available as part of Ooyala’s comprehensive suite of data-driven video delivery and monetisation products.
Ooyala Flex aims to maximise the efficiency of video production teams under pressure to create and deliver more content as audiences continue to fragment across platforms, formats and devices, and video production migrates from legacy systems to IP-based workflows. The modular and flexible solution connects historically siloed production teams and dissimilar technologies used day to day in video production, resulting in a more collaborative, unified and efficient environment that expedites content production and distribution times while lowering costs.
“Studios and production companies involve a great deal of manual, offline processes that are simply inefficient to scale at pace with the demand for premium content today across devices and platforms,” said Ooyala Co-Founder and Senior Vice President of Products and Solutions, Belsasar Lepe. “Ooyala Flex brings video production into the digital age by unifying siloed teams and technologies to form more cohesive and streamlined workflows, helping production teams create and distribute content quickly to their audiences.”
