VeEX, a global player in Telecom, CATV, Fibre, Transport and Broadband Access, has added the MTTplus test platform to its modular multi-service platform portfolio.
Building on the legacy of the legendary SunSet MTT family, the MTTplus modular and highly portable test platform provides a compact, powerful and cost-effective test toolkit for today’s wide range of evolving test needs. The modern and flexible MTTplus test platform offers a growing range of state-of-the-art test modules as well as support for legacy MTT modules and technologies, assuring MTT customers a seamless transition to modern transmission technologies, functionality, usability and connectivity. The combination of modern and legacy technologies, in a modular package, makes the MTTplus a very versatile solution.
“DSL has always been in the MTT family’s DNA and the MTTplus takes it a few steps further by adding OTDR and Carrier Ethernet to offer a complete FTTx toolkit,” said Ildefonso M. Polo, VeEX Director of Product Marketing for Transport Products. “But, it doesn’t stop there. The MTTplus covers Metro and Carrier Ethernet, Storage Area Networks (SAN), Distributed cellular Antenna System (DAS), Backhaul, Synchronization, Teleprotection and Core Transport technologies,” he added.
The compact MTTplus Modular Test Platform addresses the challenges of communication service providers to increase efficiency and productivity. It’s optional built-in camera improves job-site documentation and offers a Bar/QR code reader. The flexible test platform lowers operational and capital expenditures associated with handling multiple technologies required to address today’s Access, Business, Mobile, Carrier Ethernet, Utilities, Transport and Core services.
