Arqiva, THEMA bring Japanese and Afrikaans TV to UK

Arqiva has joined THEMA, a Canal+ group company specialising in foreign TV channel distribution, to distribute four pay-TV channels on to Freeview HD devices.
JSTV and JSTV2, the only Japanese channels available in Europe cover all genres from entertainment, movies and news, to sports and kids and address the Japanese community living in the UK.
kykNET and kykNET Musiek provide a wide range of Afrikaans Entertainment that includes talk shows, music programmes, local dramas, and cookery shows.
These two packages, available separately to all UK homes with a connected Freeview HD device on channels portal positions 246 for JSTV and 247 for kykNET bring to the Japanese and Afrikaans-speaking viewers in the UK programmes from their home countries.
