UKTV has announced that CFO, Jan Gooze-Zijl has been awarded an expanded remit which encompasses advertising sales, technology and operations.
In his new role of Chief Financial & Operations Officer, Gooze-Zijl will oversee UKTV’s relationships with C4 Sales and Sky Media Ireland, with UKTV now making up slightly over 9 per cent of British commercial viewing. He will also assume responsibility for all technical and operational aspects of UKTV, owning relationships with Red Bee Media and TVT, and delivering linear and non-linear services including UKTV’s first digital-only brand, UKTV Play. Gooze-Zijl also continues to direct UKTV’s company finances: setting financial targets, controlling profitability and cash-flow and management accounting.
