Vodafone puts Kabel Deutschland on hold?
February 27, 2013
One day after its CEO confirmed its intention to become a full service provider, Vodafone has suspended plans to approach Kabel Deutschland according to reports.
It seems not everyone is on board strategy-wise as Bloomberg reports that leaks about an approach to KDG has ‘complicated’ internal discussions. Kabel Deutschland fell as much as 5.4 percent on the news valuing the company at about €6 billion.
Vodafone had initially planned to contact Kabel Deutschland after the German cable company’s earnings report last week.
Vodafone may still decide to make a bid at some point.
