Walking Dead sets US cable drama record
February 12, 2013
AMC’s smash hit series The Walking Dead drew 12.3 million viewers on Monday evening (February 12th) as it returned from a midseason break – easily setting a record for the largest US audience to ever tune in for a scripted cable drama.
Moreover, 7.7 million of those viewers were in the advertiser-friendly 18-49-year-old demographic, a figure that would beat nearly ever series on US network television.
The episode airs in the UK on the FOX channel on February 15th
