Rovi has announced its DivX Plus Streaming technology will be integrated into the “UniPhier” series of digital television and Blu-ray Disc integrated circuit (IC) solutions from Panasonic’s Semiconductor Business Group. Designed to quickly enable advanced entertainment experiences across the connected device ecosystem, DivX Plus Streaming was selected by Panasonic SoC for its ability to deliver more high-quality video content and advanced multimedia features as part of the OTT entertainment experience.
