Verimatrix has announced the successful deployment of the Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS) for IPTV solution on Etisalat’s advanced IP-based pay-TV service in the United Arab Emirates.

As Etisalat upgrades its infrastructure to an advanced FTTH network that will reach millions of homes and businesses in the UAE by 2011, VCAS for IPTV will secure Etisalat’s TV service revenue streams.  Etisalat’s TV service is part of eLife, Etisalat’s flagship brand for fiber-optic based residential services that includes voice, broadband and IPTV.
