UPC to provide 300,000 free next-gen modems
August 19, 2016
UPC is planning a large-scale roll-out of the Connect Box among its customers. Over the next two years, some 300,000 Internet customers in Switzerland and Austria will receive the state-of-the-art modem free of charge.
Ivo Hoevel, Chief Marketing and Products Officer at UPC, commented: “The satisfaction of our existing customers is our top priority. With the Connect Box, we are giving them an even better Wi-Fi experience.”
Liberty Global is investing a significant amount in the modem roll-out in Austria and Switzerland, says Hoevel: “This important investment clearly shows that we value our customers’ loyalty and are investing in our relationship with them.”
