beIN acquires rights to Hexagon Cup
January 27, 2026
beIN Media Group has secured the rights to the Generali Hexagon Cup, in 27 territories across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Türkiye and North America.
Under the agreement, beIN subscribers across all 27 territories – via beIN’s flagship sports network, beIN Sports, and beIN’s OTT platform TOD across the MENA region – will be able to watch every match live across the five-day tournament, including the semi-finals and finals, as well as highlights from each day of the competition.
Richard Verow, Chief Sports Officer of beIN Media Group, commented: “Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, and beIN is proud to strengthen its commitment to the professional sport by bringing the Hexagon Cup to fans across our territories. Hexagon Cup’s innovative, team-based format is a welcome addition to the international padel calendar, and we look forward to delivering the first tournament of the year on beIN as part of our growing portfolio of elite racket sports.”
Astrid Thams, Commercial Managing Director of Hexagon Cup, said: “The addition of beIN Sports to our network of broadcasters, not only strengthens our presence in key markets but also reflects our vision of making the Hexagon Cup a truly global tournament. We want padel fans on every continent to enjoy every match live and to feel part of the excitement generated by our team-based format. This partnership allows us to combine sporting innovation, top-level entertainment, and localised storytelling tailored to each market.”
Tim Godfrey, Strategic Advisor Broadcast and Media of Hexagon Cup, added: “Expanding our international broadcast footprint is a central pillar of the Hexagon Cup’s long term strategy. Partnering with beIN Sports strengthens our distribution across key markets such as MENA, Türkiye, Canada and the United States, ensuring fans can follow every match live and stay connected through highlights and digital coverage. Together with our wider broadcast ecosystem, this agreement helps us bring the Hexagon Cup experience to millions more viewers and continue building padel’s global momentum.”
Hexagon Cup coverage will be available to beIN subscribers across the following 27 territories: Algeria, Bahrain, Chad, Djibouti, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, UAE, Yemen, Türkiye, United States of America and Canada.
The agreement comes following the Hexagon Cup’s strategic alliance in December 2025 with 54, the global sport and entertainment agency, and the International Padel Federation (FIP) – the sport’s governing body. Under this partnership, Hexagon Cup is expanding into its next phase: a new global team circuit officially named the Hexagon World Series, which will become the first team padel series delivered under the governance of the FIP and fully integrated into the federative padel pyramid.
