Rakuten TV Enterprise powers 3 studios’ first FAST launches

October 9, 2025

Rakuten TV, through its B2B brand Rakuten TV Enterprise, has announced distribution and technology partnership deals with Ace Entertainment, Reframed Content Studios and Shanghai Media Group. For the first time, each of these content owners will have their first dedicated Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV (FAST) channels.

These new channels, set to roll out during Q4, will cover a range of genres, including lifestyle, Asian dramas and action films. They will initially be available on Rakuten TV and will soon expand to third-party FAST platforms across multiple European countries.

Rakuten TV Enterprise is a suite of products and services designed to help content partners build FAST channels and white-label CTV apps. Rakuten TV Enterprise will lead the launch of these new FAST channels and be responsible for multiple activities, which may include playout, scheduling and ad monetisation.

The new FAST channels include:

  • From Ace Entertainment: Shark TV (French feed, launching in France), giving audiences action-packed shark-related movies.
  • From Reframed Content Studios: Cesar’s Pack Leader TV (English Feed, launching in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Nordics, and Iceland) features dog behaviour expert Cesar Millán, offering a curated line-up of his most popular shows.
  • From Shanghai Media Group’s subsidiary WingsMedia, in partnership with Bolytics: C-Drama NOW (Magnolia Time) (French feed, launching in France, Belgium and Luxembourg), the first French-dubbed FAST channel in these markets dedicated to drama from China, bringing audiences Chinese stories of love, famil, and resilience.

“These partnerships highlight Rakuten TV’s commitment to empowering content rights holders and accelerating the growth of the FAST ecosystem across Europe. We’re helping content partners build FAST channels and broaden their distribution coverage, with Rakuten TV becoming a true one-stop-shop. By leveraging our scale, technology, and content expertise, we can deliver end-to-end solutions – from channel creation to distribution and monetisation. For audiences, this means access to even more high-quality, free content across genres, further cementing Rakuten TV’s position as a leading destination for entertainment,” commented Marcos Milanez, Chief Content Officer, Rakuten TV.

These new channels will add to Rakuten TV’s FAST line-up of more than 500 unique channels, over 100 of which are Owned & Operated.
