RAI 4K broadcasts for Euro 2016

Rome-based DBW Communications is customising some of the key Euro 2016 football matches for broadcast in 4K for Italian public broadcaster RAI.
DBW says it will be supplying the games for live transmission in Ultra HD and which will be screened on the Tivùsat free-to-view platform which is transmitted from Eutelsat’s ‘Hot Bird’ satellite.
The coverage begins on June 30th with the first match of the quarter-finals, followed on July 1st, 2nd and 3rd by the other quarter final matches. The semi-finals will be broadcast on July 6th and 7th with the final scheduled for July 10th.
