BBC Olympic head of production joins BT Channel
September 20, 2012
The BBC’s head of production for London 2012, Jamie Hindhaugh, will join BT in mid-October as chief operating officer for its new sports channel.
Hindhaugh will be jointly responsible for launching the new channel, will oversee day-to-day operations and will ensure the channel is run as effectively as possible. His key responsibility, as head of production for London 2012, was to implement and manage the safe delivery of the multiplatform coverage for BBC across both the Olympic and Paralympic Games, incorporating the torch relay, athletes’ parade and other associated programming.
