Class Action victory over SiriusXM

February 3, 2026

By Chris Forrester

North American payradio operator SiriusXM has agreed a settlement of a Class Action lawsuit. SiriusXM will pay out $28 million (€23.7m) to settle the problem.

The 2022 lawsuit claimed that people who had entered their names on the National Do Not Call Registry or told the satellite radio company not to call them were contacted after doing so. The Do Not Call registry, available for free, allows the public to opt out of telemarketing calls and report violations to the Federal Trade Commission.

SiriusXM denied wrongdoing in the agreement but agreed to the settlement, originally filed in October 2025, to settle the claims.

The deadline to file a claim is March 21st, while the deadline to file an objection to the settlement is March 27th.

A final approval hearing, where the court may hear objections to the settlement, is set for May 11th.
