Intel and VUDU, Walmart’s video service, have confirmed that the two companies are working together to deploy digital content ecosystem UltraViolet (UV) services that help simplify UV distribution, improve the video experience and reduce cost for the VUDU movie store.
The services support both streaming and video downloads for UV and are easily integrated into apps on Windows, Android, and iOS platforms. UV, supported across Intel product lines, allows people to access movies and TV shows across almost any device with a Common File Format (CFF) and a centralised ownership tracking system, explained Suzy Greenberg, Senior PR Manager at Intel Corporation in a blog post.
